Yadana Su Hlaing has a Bachelor’s Degree in International Business, a Minor in French Culture and Language Studies and a Master in Business Administration. She studied for four years at Elizabethtown College in Pennsylvania, USA to obtain her undergraduate degree, and half a year in Nancy, France to complete her minor in French. She recently succeeded her MBA with Honors from RMIT University in Melbourne, Australia.
Before pursuing her MBA in Australia for a year, Yadana has previous work experiences in Technical Staffing, Onshore/Offshore Catering, Provision & Material Services, Agency Services, Transport and Logistics Supply in the Oil & Gas Sector. She has worked for international companies for more than five years in Singapore holding responsibilities as an Operations Support and an Operations Executive. Some of her past clients include Jet Drilling (S) Pte Ltd, Ensco Offshore International, Frontier Drilling (Asia) Pte Ltd, Diamond Offshore (S) Pte Ltd, Seacor Marine (Asia) Pte Ltd, PT. Huabei Petroleum Services, Seadrill Offshore Management, and Atwood Oceanics Pacific Ltd.
Yadana is currently the Managing Director in SMART Technical Services Co, Ltd since November 2010. She enjoys working in the Oil & Gas service sector as there is a growing demand for expertise to support upstream and downstream oil and gas activities in Myanmar. Yadana also has interests in human resources, international businesses, consultancy services, operations and management planning.
She has a passion for traveling, multi-cultural studies and traditional dancing. Due to her enthusiasm, she has lived in and visited many countries including USA, France, Singapore, Australia, New Zealand, India, Italy, Spain, Germany, Japan, Thailand, Malaysia and Indonesia.

Kyaw Kyaw Hlaing received Master of Science from Yangon Arts and Science University. He worked for Myanma Oil and Gas Enterprise as Geophysicist from 1975 to 1981. He served for Schlumberger Technical Services as Field Engineer/ Data Services Manager from 1981 to 1994 in Myanmar, India, Indonesia and United States of America. He founded SMART Technical Services in 1994. His present position is Chairman for SMART Group of Companies. He is a passionate author for more than 10 books on several topics. He is a frequent public speaker at industry conferences and seminars.Since he was young, Kyaw Kyaw Hlaing was frequently involved in environmental activities and Youth Empowerment initiatives. He has produced videos on Leadership, Management, and Environmental awareness programs.Aside from being a Chairman for SMART Group of Companies, he is also a weekly TV personnel. He began environmental activities including producing a video awareness program titled “Stop Using Plastic Bag” and “Waste”, and enthusiastically participated regarding advocacy works on safeguarding environment.

Daw Thazin Nyunt is a non-executive director of SMART Technical Services Co. Ltd. She is presently a Director and is a co-founder for SMART when the company was first established to operate Petroleum Services in 1994. She is an active philanthropist and regularly participates in contributing to SMART’s Ray of Hope Foundation.

U Min Min Thet Hlaing is an Energy Professional with eighteen years extensive experiences in the Oil & Gas Sector of Energy Industry within Myanmar. He is currently the Financial Controller of all the subsidiary companies under SMART Group of Companies.He graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Zoology at University of Yangon in 1996 and Associate Degree in Business Administration in Monroe College, New York in 1999. He has travelled to many countries and lived in various countries such as Myanmar, India, Singapore, Indonesia, Thailand, Malaysia, and United States etc. Since, young he has been working for various companies and sectors of different industries ranges from clothing, construction, hotel, oil & gas, aviation to F&B.His previous scope of work experiences varies from developing, coordinating and managing to achieve planned annual work programs, future budget, coordinating, and secure essential projects with Government Ministries and other private sector within industry.Moreover, his experiences include the following but not limited to sales, marketing, project management, project finance, HR management and helps industry develop new ideas and create develop new markets in the industry.

U Chit Nyi Nyi Hlaing graduated with Bachelor of Science in Electronics Engineering Technology from Wentworth Institute of Technology, Boston, Massachusetts in 2007. From April 2008 to March 2009, he worked as the Assistant Manager in SMART Electrical Co. Ltd. In April 2009, he joined the International Association of Drilling Contractors (IADC) as the Operations Assistant for IADC Asia Operations. In February 2013, he became the Assistant Regional Director-Asia Pacific at IADC. He was then promoted to Regional Director-Asia Pacific at IADC in January 2020. He is currently responsible for providing support to all international regional chapters, to facilitate and promote the activities of IADC and maintain member relations. As a Regional Representative, he helps to deliver the strategic objectives that drive IADC’s plans and which support its members.
